Dr. Khalid Osman Elamin Elsayed has rejoined Burjeel Hospital as Consultant Gastroenterology and Director of Endoscopy. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, and Certification of Higher Training in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in the United Kingdom. He then completed his fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy including ERCP and EUS in 2009 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London UK) in 2013. He has also membership in learned societies like the British Society of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Khalid Osman worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and led the upper GI cancer multidisciplinary team in Torbay Hospital, United Kingdom before moving to UAE where he worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Head of the Department in reputed government and private institutions. With over 13 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology, Dr. Khalid’s areas of expertise include treatment of pancreaticobiliary diseases, biliary endoscopy, advanced interventional endoscopy, and GI oncology. To his credit, he has published several publications and presented several research papers internationally.
